Scope of Practice

Comprehensive foot & ankle care — and orthopaedic trauma

Dr Hogan is an Australian-trained orthopaedic surgeon with extensive experience in orthopaedic trauma, and subspecialty fellowship training in complex foot and ankle surgery. He treats the full range of foot and ankle conditions — from common, everyday presentations through to complex reconstructive cases — both non-operatively and surgically.

His broader trauma training means he also manages orthopaedic trauma more widely, including soft tissue injuries and fractures of the upper and lower limb.

Our Approach

Patient Care

Jarred believes good care starts with really listening: to your symptoms, but also to what matters to you, whether that's getting back to your desk pain-free or lacing up your boots again as your club's reigning C-grade sporting hero. He treats the full spectrum of foot, ankle and orthopaedic trauma, from minor niggles to major trauma, and every kind of patient, from weekend warriors to elite athletes, always with the same close attention and genuine compassion.

A close partnership with allied health and physiotherapy sits at the heart of Jarred's approach, so your recovery is a team effort focused on getting you back to what you love. He also stays closely engaged with current research, so every treatment plan reflects up-to-date, evidence-based practice.
